Susana Mendelson, M.S., R.D., C.D.E.
Nutritionist
Susana Mendelson, M.S., R.D., C.D.E., is the nutritionist for Advanced Surgical Solutions, LLC. She has been working with our practice since March of 2004. She has been counseling bariatric patients for the last three years and has been providing individual and group counseling for the past seven years. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and her Master's degree in Nutrition from New York University. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and a member of the following special interest groups: Weight Management, Sports, and Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists, Nutrition in Complementary Care and Diabetes Care. She is a culinary enthusiast with a passion for recipe development, and eagerly shares her ideas for delicious and healthy high protein foods. She truly enjoys working with our patients in an open and supportive environment, and believes the best part of her work is seeing patients overcome the challenges they will face after life-altering surgery.
